We welcome all students, from 6 years upwards and hold four classes every week for Junior students during term-time.
What will they learn?
We start on basic techniques like punches, blocks, kicks and combinations. We use play and obstacle courses to build coordination and strength. This helps students learn discipline and respect for each other.
They’ll be able to earn striped belts, badges and certificates at gradings.
What do they wear?
We all wear white karate gi (karate uniforms). You might not need to buy a new gi – the club usually has some second-hand ones available. However for the first sessions, jogging bottoms and t-shirts are absolutely fine
What are the class times?
Class times are as follows:
What will the session cost?
£8 per session or £30 for the month.
What next?
After three sessions, you can decide whether you’d like to continue. If so, you’ll need to take out a licence with our governing body, EGKA, which covers insurance. Details can be found on the EGKA website here.
